Every year Shepherdstown Street Fest names two non-profit charities, one
regional and one local, that benefit from our proceeds. For 2012, we are proud
and excited to announce that our regional non-profit is the Eastern Panhandle
Free Clinic! Services are provided by epfc to Jefferson, Berkeley, and surrounding
counties. Check them out at www.wvepfc.com.We are also proud to announce that our local donation will be a gift (to be determined) to our town for Shepherdstown's 250th Birthday!
every year on the last Saturday of June
rain or shine!
When: Saturday, June 30th from 10AM until 9PM
What: Music, food & drink, artists, vendors, fun stuff for kids
Street Fest, 2011, had the largest attendance to date, almost 6,000 people and everyone's excited about 2012 because Shepherdstown celebrates its 250th birthday as the oldest town in West Virginia. It will be even better this year! We will have a great line-up of musicians. Vendor space is, of course, limited, so we encourage local artists, businesses, and craftspeople, as well as sponsors, to contact us soon and become a part of Shepherdstown, WV Street Fest!
This is a festival about all that is unique, artistic, and welcoming in
Shepherdstown! It is an event for EVERYONE! Come to Shepherdstown
and spend the day with us. We are a friendly town, a fun bunch
of people and we encourage you to browse, buy, eat, drink, and enjoy the music.
The festival is held on the 2 blocks of German Street on either side of the town's main interstection at King Street. Click here for a printable map of the site and here for an interactive map of the site and here for information about parking options.
In addition to the artists and vendors who will be in town specifically to display
their wares at Street Fest, there are many wonderful shops along German and
Princess Streets that are open for your enjoyment year round. Visit the
Visitors Center
website
for an introduction to all that is available to you in Shepherdstown.
We would like to thank all of the many volunteers and sponsors who made this, and past festivals, possible. We would especially like to thank the Corporation of Shepherdstown, the Shepherdstown Business Association and the Shepherdstown Police Department for their invaluable help.
